A: At present, this service is at no cost to you. We are considering charging for this in the future simply because of the sheer time and effort that goes into providing this for you.
A: We usually work to approx. 4 – 6 week lead times. As we are a small family business, we use the same installation teams on all of our projects. This means that we rarely run more than one project at a time which allows us to stay in control of our quality and ensures that your new kitchen gets the attention it deserves.
A: First we get on the phone with you and have a brief conversation about what it is you would like to achieve. This helps us know the design direction before we come to your home, what sample to bring etc.
We then settle on a mutually agreeable time to visit your home in order for us to carry our our design consultation.
So that we leave nothing to chance, we will likely spend up to two hours with you, going through the finer points of your new kitchen to make sure we cover absolutely everything.
During the consultation the first thing we do is listen to what it is you want to achieve and only once we have your input do we then suggest some styles and designs that we think may suit.
whilst comprehensively measuring your kitchen we will also point out areas of concern and suggest a few different layouts if things such as stop taps or window positioning etc don’t allow for your preferred design.
Once we have gathered all the information we need, we go away and spend a few more hours coming up with a design based on our time with you, and produce some beautiful 3d graphics of what your new kitchen will look like, which we know you are going love.
All of this is at no cost to you.
A: For the projects that we undertake, the below is a good indication of how long a customer will be without a kitchen for.
If your requirements are simpler then your kitchen remodel would be shorter. A kitchen remodel shouldn’t take less than a week, if it does, then perhaps some corners are being cut somewhere.
Day 1 – Demolition:
Removal of old kitchen, floor and wall tiling.
First Fix Electrical Work
First Fix Gas (if applicable)
First Fix Plumbing
Day 2/3 – Re-plastering:
Re-plaster all damaged walls from demolition and first fix
Day 4 – Floor Prep:
Self Levelling of floor ready for tiling or other floor finishes (depending on what is being used, depend on the level of preparation).
Day 5/6 – Floor Installation:
Including underfloor heating if required
Day 7-10 Kitchen Installation:
Fitting units and doors etc.
Day 10 Final fix electrics and Gas:
As you can see, there are a lot of component parts to make up a full kitchen remodel, and if done and managed correctly, it will still take up to two weeks.
Longer if you specify a solid surface that has to be templated after the units are installed – which could add another week to the installation.
Add another few days if you are knocking a wall through.
Most bathroom installations are approx. 1 week depending on the size.
Just understand, that in order to do a quality installation, there are many factors involved in laying the foundations for a great installation. Don’t settle for a rushed job, and be ready for some inconvenience.
A: Thats easy! We are a small family business with a unique approach.
We will never try to sell to you at any point!
Our approach with you is always consultative in nature, and purely advisory.
We do not have any vested interest in any specific design and will not push to you towards certain door ranges or additional items because it suits us.
There are no hard sales pitches, no fake sales tactics, no false scarcity, just simple straight talking helpful advice.
Our aim is to deliver massive value before you ever spend any money with us, and hopefully that demonstrates our expertise and integrity in such a way that you will want us to work with you on your project!
A: This is pretty much an impossible question to answer as there are so many variables that can effect the overall cost of the kitchen. Things such as Tiling walls/floors, plastering, lighting, appliance quantity/quality, and worksurface type can all make huge differences to cost.
For those that want the absolute bare minimum doing, you would be looking at the £5-6,000 range.
However if you are looking for a top quality job that goes into much of the work outlined in the previous question, then with the additional work necessary you would be looking more towards the 10,000 and above range.
Typically most of the kitchens we do range from £7,500 to £20,000

“Excellent – from start to finish. We planned to finally replace the tired kitchen and knock through into the dining room to create a nicer family space.
It was with apprehension as we had an idea of the magnitude of the job.
Anyway, from the initial phase of contact in Feb, Dave was very good in understanding what we were looking for and provided some great suggestions.
A CGI design was provided which we loved. After a few further talks about the finer finish, and reassurance with the time of completion from Dave, it was clear this was the company we’d use.
The job started on the agreed date, and despite the amount of work, which included a wall coming down, plastering, relocation of gas pipes, it went to plan, and the quality and finish exceeded our expectations.
All of the guys on the job were really good – professional, working to a great standard, and always cleaning up any mess as best they could. The design, communication, demolishing, the fit and the quality of the cabinets and units were all excellent!
Dave’s knowledge and expertise was incredible and of huge value – his guidance and suggestions regarding finer details finished the kitchen in a way, and as close to identical to the CGI as we could’ve expected. Kudos to Dave, Simon, Ian, Mitch, Ash and Mark!
Thanks DPL”
